We come into the world alone.
We go away the same.

But life is a lonely journey and so we seek love in all the places it can be found,

desiring,
needing,
aching,

to fill the void wrought by our solitude.

But as we seek,
we get hurt,
and broken
and more alone.

And as we live our lives,
we learn that love is not sought,

it seeks us.

Love is not taken, it is given...
and, in the giving we are thus,

made complete.
