(taken from Maging Sino Ka Man OST Album)
We come into the world alone.
We go away the same.
But life is a lonely journey and so we seek love in all the places it can be found,
desiring,
needing,
aching,
to fill the void wrought by our solitude.
But as we seek,
we get hurt,
and broken
and more alone.
And as we live our lives,
we learn that love is not sought,
it seeks us.
Love is not taken, it is given...
and, in the giving we are thus,
made complete.

Like a kite, I will forever hold your hand.
And with the burning human longing, in your hands, I surrender.
I will never get tired of you.
For you, there will be no endings.
I will say your name over and over... like a refain.
My prayer to no one.
You know I will never get far.
And there is no need for my return.
Only travelers leave.
I've never been a traveler.
For I have never left.
I am lost, simply.
Wanting to be in a place I've never been, and will never be.
Of all destinations, I long to be lost in the fields of your hair, lost among your thoughts as you are already in mine.
You are my imperative to live.
My life started when I loved you.
And that's how I want it to end.
And that's how I want it to end.

at end of the day, still you are the one who will work for this things, for you're the only one who has the power and ability to make this journey of life be the best that you never had. whether it had good and bad moments, still you can say that you had the best life you'd travel.
so, live the way you want it. do the best each day. don't afraid to screw up your day for you will learn something from it, but don't repeat that kind of screwing up!
people come and go in your way, just like you who come and go in other people's lives.

Fallin' Out: Caused by Contradictions

Why we have a world of contrasts? Why there are always two sides that exists in every story?
At first, you'll think that it's just the nature of this world. There's always things that will agree with and the other side, will contradict. But, what can we draw from this nature? Will it affect our lives for betterment or these will lead us to impairment?
Yes, for both of them. These contrasts could lift us to happiness and to pull us to despair. The only problem is that we see these contrasts as negative things. Those who contradicts on what we're doing usually pull us down, leaving marks in our thoughts that says "Stop. Stop what you're trying to say, what you're trying to do. You're not perfect. You're wrong. You're a loser." And for me, these marks were the worst marks that couldn't be erase very soon, for they are marks that in any moment, could be an open wound. And for all we know, wounds can only be healed, not erased. As long as you see these healed wounds, you can still remember how did you get it, or maybe how did you received it.
But, as I have said, there are always two side of the story. The aforementioned paragraph is just the one side. How about the other? Will we ignore it? Will we ignore the side that brought us such pains and wounds to our feelings? No, we shouldn't. We should not ignore it. And we should not just know about it. Let's try to understand the 'behinds' of that other side.
This is a very challenging experience in life, to look for the world's contrasts and make them meet in the middle. We have to see these people or things that agree with us and those that contradict us meet and be connected. I think this is the only way we can put and use, not just our knowledge to understand, but the skill to understand ourselves, understand the others, understand each side of contrast.
Yes, we know that all things has a basis. But the real thing is that we're too shallow to think about those bases. Most of the time, we seek for the bases of those who contradicts us, and then draw a funny conclusion about it. Why don't we try to reflect on our personal bases, along with the bases made by those who contradicts us. Let's make them meet in the middle, understand why these bases were created.
This is the challenge and this will be very hard, we all know that. And for the fact that simple understanding one another, which is a big step for this challenge, is the most hard thing to do. We find it hard to understand why other things or people are having hard time to understand us.
Still, this thing is very complex for me, not just to understand, but to absorb. But for now, I realized that there are so-called "simple solution" that will not avoid contrasts or contradictions, but will try to make a bridge and meet the both sides of it. We just have to hold on our faith that as long as we believe in the power of wisdom, that teaches us not just to learn but also to understand, every contradictions that will block our way can be easily set aside.
Don't just think. Try to understand. Understand yourself and understand others. Then, learn from those understandings.
